Water
THE BLUE COLORWAY
De blauwe kleuren uit deze collectie benadrukken het unieke aspect van water en de onmisbare kracht van deze natuurbron. Deze collectie is gemaakt van wereld’s eerste Cradle to Cradle Certified™ Gold G-Star Denim, een stofsamenstelling die geen slechte invloed heeft op mens en planeet. Het denim bestaat uit 100% biologisch katoen en bevat de meest zuivere indigo technologie. Deze technologie gebruikt 70% minder chemicaliën en bevat geen zouten of bijproducten van zout. Zo blijft er schoon water over dat gerecycled kan worden.

Earth
The ecru colorway
Inspired by raw earth and the creatures that live on it, this colorway has been executed in raw organic cotton and has used no dye whatsoever, making the fabric highly sustainable and recyclable. The twill construction is made of 100% organic cotton yarns, completely undyed. Due to the untreated organic yarns, the garments receive an off-white hue with natural speckles unique to each garment.

The black colorway
One of the most dramatic natural events comes in the most sustainable black denim we’ve ever made which is first of its kind in the market. It represents G-Star's holistic approach to fabric design when it comes to the choice of 100% organic cotton fiber, eco-friendly black dyestuff, its transport, packaging and the actual dye application. By using this dyeing technology, we save 52% water, 65% energy, 71% CO2 and 14% chemicals, compared to conventional black denim. For all three colorways, all T-shirts and sweatshirts have been engineered with organic cotton and were digitally printed, which is the most sustainable printing process available.
