How can I track my order?

You can check the status of your order in your own G-Star account. When your order has been fully processed, the status will change to 'completed'. When the package is on its way, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking link of that shipment.

Please note the tracking link is only activated the moment the carrier has received the package.

Please allow 4-10 working days for delivery.

What is the delivery time?

The delivery time is 4-10 working days. Your package will be shipped from our warehouse in the Netherlands. Please be aware that dispatch may take longer during SALE and depending on how fast the order passes through South African Customs.

What are the delivery costs?

Shipping costs: ZAR 50.

Shipping is free on orders above ZAR 1499. During times of promotion shipping costs may vary.

What happens if no one is present to receive the delivery?

The courier will try to deliver your package three times. If possible, the courier will deliver the package to one of your neighbours. If the third attempt to deliver your package fails, the courier will return your package to the warehouse and you will be refunded for your order. 

Can I choose a delivery address abroad?

Deliveries abroad are not available at this time. This is also not possible for store deliveries. 
The delivery address must be in the same country as the Online Store.

What does Express Delivery mean?

Items marked with express delivery will be delivered within 2–4 working days. These items are shipped from South Africa and do not need to go through customs.

Please note: if your order contains items that are not marked for express delivery, your whole order may be delivered within the usual delivery timeframe of 4-10 working days. 

When you have placed your order, you will receive an order confirmation email. After your order has been shipped from the warehouse in South Africa you will receive an email with your digital invoice. When the package has been handed over to the local courier you will receive a shipping confirmation with a tracking number, and soon your order will be delivered to your door. 

Fedex will operate a contactless delivery to ensure the hygiene and safety of all. The drivers will be equipped with facemasks and sanitisers, as well as allow contactless signings on the handheld device for your parcel if requested.

Orders are shipped from The Netherlands, which means orders will first need to be cleared by customs before they can be imported. When customs intercepts your order, they can ask you to provide them with more information concerning your order before clearing it.

The South African customs might ask you to provide the following documentation:
- Police certified copy of your ID
- Proof of Payment (Bank statements/Order confirmation)
- Proof of address corresponding with the address nominated for delivery

Please note; when delivering to your office or company you will have to provide the South African customs proof of employment at the nominated address.
