Dexter Navy captures new G-Star identity and celebrates unique talent in the Uniform of the Free collection.
In the Uniform of the Free campaign film, the director presents the G-Star denim world through his raw and unexpected craftsmanship. The result is an ode to freedom, with compositions that hone in on the distinguishing attitudes, skills and voices of each talent.

Lakeyria Doughty ‘Wheelie Queen’, dirt biker

LESS BARBIE DOLLS. MORE TOY CARS AND DIRT BIKES.

Lakeyria is the Wheelie queen of the US East coast and officially, the only female dirt biker in Baltimore. She found her freedom by riding roaring dirt bikes. Since she rules in a game that used to be ruled only by men, she proved to be a perfect match for the new G-Star Uniform of the Free collection, suiting up for her rides with Deline shearling reversible bomber jacket, the high-waist G-Star Elwood Shape jeans and the 3301 Deconstructed Classic denim jacket.

Emilio Rodriguez, BMX rider & guitar player

BASK IN YOUR COOL.

Emilio, a BMX rider & guitar player, feels perfectly free when he combines his two most powerful skills: playing the guitar while riding his BMX. Whether he plays off key, on key or on wheels – it doesn't matter, as long as he does it his way. Emilio’s uniform of the free consists of the Motac Deconstructed 3D Slim jeans – a seamless match to Emilio’s skill, since they were designed to support freedom of movement, the Uniform of the Free regular T-shirt and the Blake padded jacket.

Tymeir, Taheed and Caleb proudly represent the Philadelphia Fletcher Street Urban Riding Club, the urban cowboys who gallop the streets for their love of speed. They sit on greater heights to get the perspective and freedom they need to boldly come as they are. The Rackam Rovulc leather boots – a modern rework, originally produced for warm climate army footwear – are there to hold them steady and firm, and boldly present their uniforms of the free: the Garber teddy overcoat, the D-Staq 3D Straight Tapered jeans, the Blake padded jacket and the quilted AW vest.

Jonathan Haze climbs the highest buildings to feel the purest form of freedom. In the Motac Deconstructed 3D Slim jeans – a biker-inspired denim that allows for unrestricted movement thanks to its rib panels – he challenges the conventions from up high. The Uniform of the Free quilted vest and the Data Snapback cap create a true urban dweller look. But Jonathan doesn’t dwell too much – he jumps higher and higher every time.
