Styled for Summer

Blue skies, long days, and warm nights. Feeling the sun on your skin. And your clothes. As you figure out what to wear this summer, explore our wardrobe staples for the season.

Hot this Year

Utilitarian gear is under the spotlight this summer. Especially in its tried-and-true khaki and olive colors. Although they’re not usually seen as heat-friendly, the runways have seen cargos and workwear polished for summer city life.

On a less practical note, skirts over pants are also experiencing a revival. Effortlessly pull off the look by layering any skirt over a pair of loose or flared pants. Or go for skorts to keep your legs exposed to the sun.

Bottoms can't be discussed without mentioning the rise of skinny. Though loose pants are loved every summer for their breathability, slim fits have been making their return, both at fashion week and on the streets. For summer, opt for slim pants made with linen and cotton cuts.

The Sunny Staples

Some pieces come and go with trends, while some will return year after year. Especially the essentials with perfect balance of form and function.

Among them, linen deserves a special mention. Lightweight, breathable, and soft, this fundamental fabric is revered in hot weather for obvious reasons. This season, we’re pairing linen with another staple of ours: denim. You don’t have to give up jeans when the temperature rises, if you know how. Start with essential lightweight denim - a highlight of our summer collection.

Work Wear

What to wear at work in the summer? Piecing together a look for the office in the heat is always a challenge. But now, it might get easier. Start with an airy blouse or linen button-up as an effortless alternative to the classic office shirt. Layer it over a sleeveless top or white T-shirt, and you can easily transition to off-work attire or strip down if it gets too warm.

Elsewhere, Bermuda shorts, midi skirts, and loose pants are the ultimate choice for ventilation. You can also bring a light sweater or denim jacket to throw over your summer outfits. So you can be sun-ready and prepped for any potential office chills.
