Boyfriend Bootcut Fit

The 5620 G-Star Elwood was the first jean constructed from the G-Star 3D Denim approach. Introduced in 1996, this unique method was invented by Head Designer Pierre Morisset as he replicated the moulded jeans worn by a passing motorcyclist, which had become formed to his legs from longtime exposure to the elements.<br><br><div class="contentBlock--buttonLink contentBlock-bodyAlign--textAlignLeft">   <a href="./5620%20g-star%20elwood" class="contentBlock-body-link">See all 5620 G-Star Elwood jeans for women</a> </div>

Kara Steel denim is a compact 2x1 right hand twill construction with a greyish weft. Mixed with a Hazy blue warp results in a rich, vintage dark hazy blue shade. The fabric is dyed with ‘Sweet indigo’ which is a hydrosulfite-free dyeing technology, using an organic glucose-based reducer instead of heavy salts such as Hydro. In addition, the irregular slub character adds authenticity.

By choosing products that contain Cotton (BCI), you are supporting the Better Cotton Initiative’s mission to help cotton communities survive and thrive, while protecting and restoring the environment. BCI applies a mass balance system, which means that the cotton is mixed with conventional cotton in a complex supply chain. Because the end product may therefore not actually contain Better Cotton, we choose not to rank it.

This cropped version of the G-Star Elwood jeans is cut in a boyfriend fit with a bootleg finish. Knee pads and heel guards refer to the original. The coin pocket is repositioned towards the inside of these 7/8 length jeans.
