Organic cotton farming works without harmful pesticides and fertilizers. Instead, it uses natural methods that keep the soil healthy and preserve biodiversity. But that’s not all. Organic cotton helps improve the livelihood of the farmers who grow it. With OCA’s Farm Program, we’ve supported 125 small farmers in India in 2023. This includes sourcing organic cotton seeds, hands-on training to cultivate organic cotton efficiently, and paying farmers above market price. So they can become more financially independent, and continue to grow organic cotton.
