Always looking forward, G-Star RAW strives to lead the denim industry with responsible and sustainable manufacturing practices that protect the wellbeing of people and the planet.
We choose our suppliers carefully and only work with manufacturers that share our passion for improving production processes.
To ensure that all G-Star products are made under fair and safe circumstances, our suppliers meet or exceed our stringent code of conduct. And to protect workers and the environment, no harmful chemicals are used in our products.

We’re proud of the effort our suppliers have made in recent years towards better manufacturing. To reveal them to the world, we have launched a digital map with the location of the factories that produce our denim and apparel.
Designed for full transparency, the manufacturer map shows the specifications of each factory and the sustainability initiatives they have taken.
You can reveal the origin of garments by clicking the ‘Produced By’ tab on individual product pages when shopping our online store.
Or explore the entire G-Star Manufacturing Map.
Also highlighted on the map are the social initiatives of the GSRD Foundation, an organization created by G-Star in 2007 to give back to the communities that manufacture our products.
Focused on education and entrepreneurship, the foundation’s projects range from training students with relevant skills, to providing grants and loans that stimulate local economies.
The combination of vocational training and entrepreneurship gives people the opportunity to support themselves and their community into the future. The GSRD Foundation currently supports 57 projects around the world.
