Designed Around the Body
The rise determines where a pair of jeans sits on the body. Low rise jeans sit below the natural waist, resting on or just above the hips. A small adjustment in placement creates an entirely different silhouette. At G-STAR, we've always approached denim through anatomy. From articulated knees and 3D construction to sculpted seams and engineered fits, every detail is designed in relation to movement and form. Low rise follows the same thinking. It's less about lowering a waistband and more about changing the relationship between the body and the denim. That's why modern low rise feels different. It's not defined by one fit or one era. It works across relaxed, straight, bootcut, and wide-leg silhouettes, each changing the way the lower rise is expressed.
