Marc went on to live in Tokyo and Paris, soaking up the design aesthetic of both cultures, before making his permanent base in London. Over the past two decades, he has designed objects for some of the leading companies in the world, including: the 021C concept car for the Ford Motor Company; the Riva Aquariva speedboat; aircraft interiors for Qantas, including the A380, the first class lounges at Sydney and Melbourne Airports; and the Lever house restaurant in New York.
Since 2003, Marc has also collaborated with G-Star on a number of clothing collections. Applying industrial design techniques to leisure wear, he has created unique ranges that feature hidden seams, one piece arms, and clean, structured silhouettes, as well as distinctive materials that reimagine familiar patterns like army camouflage as more basic, naive shapes and colours.
