Born in the UK in 1987, Lily Cole entered the public eye as a model and has since become known for her broad range of interests spanning from art history to environmental sustainability. Our collaboration began as Cole became face of Spring/Summer ’14 campaign “The Challenge” – entering a thrilling chess match against World Champion Magnus Carlsen.
“The Challenge” saw Cole enter the match as ‘Challenger’ against ‘King’ Carlsen – highlighting her renowned intellect and acting talent.
At sixteen Cole was the youngest model to appear on the cover of British Vogue, setting the tone for an illustrious career that has included many of the world’s most exclusive brands. Beyond modelling, Cole is a successful actress and has starred in numerous feature films including Terry Gilliam's The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus and Snow White and the Huntsman.

In 2011, she graduated with double first class honours in Art History from Cambridge, which inspired her to examine the inspirations, obsessions and processes of six of her favourite artists in the Sky Arts documentary series 'Art Matters'.
